Throughout the course, your instructor will lead you through hands-on experiences in practical navigation, encompassing both offshore and limited visibility scenarios. The curriculum covers essential aspects such as weather forecasting, passage planning, watch-keeping, preparation for sea, and handling heavy weather conditions. Each student takes charge of planning and executing passages, assuming complete command of the motor cruiser under the instructor's. A crucial emphasis is placed on developing adept boat handling skills, with ample practice in mooring the motor yacht and a minimum of 4 hours dedicated to night-time passage making. Weather permitting, the motor yacht will embark on an extended coastal passage.
