Seven Seas School of Yachting, in association with Corfu Sea School, are proud to announce a brand new adventure.
The two longest established RYA Yacht Training Centres in Greece have come together to provide the Ultimate Greek Sailing Odyssey. A 10 day, one way, fully skippered, yacht charter between Athens and Corfu. Fly into one, out of the other, trips run in both directions.
Your route has been designed so you experience many of the places made famous in Homer’s epic poem, The Odyssey. It is a voyage of discovery, a chance to visit mythical places such as Ithaca, the home of Odysseus, the Acheron, the legendary river that leads to Hades, Corfu, Paxos, Cephalonia and Delphi.
You will also transit the Corinth Canal, the impressive waterway that turns the Peloponnese into an island. To add to your enjoyment we will provide a Treasure Hunt. As you travel between each destination you will collect clues. Solving these will lead to valuable sailing prizes whilst deepening your knowledge of the country. This is where myth meets history, a land of mighty Gods and fabled characters. This is the real Greece. It is a holiday, a sailing experience and a chance to become fully immersed in a rich culture.
