Our first RYA sailing course of 2026 in Athens has officially wrapped up — and what a journey it has been for our students at Seven Seas School of Yachting.
From the moment they stepped aboard, participants were immersed in real-world sailing conditions. The week delivered varied weather, challenging seas, and unpredictable conditions, offering the perfect training ground for developing confidence and competence on the water. It certainly wasn’t easy — but that’s exactly where the real learning happens.
Throughout the course, our students adapted quickly, building essential RYA sailing skills while gaining valuable experience in decision-making, teamwork, and problem-solving. Each day brought new challenges, pushing everyone to grow not only as sailors, but as confident crew members ready to handle demanding situations at sea.
Despite the demanding conditions, the week was also filled with moments of joy and achievement. Our students captured stunning photos from the Aegean, proving that even the most challenging sailing weeks can be deeply rewarding and unforgettable.
We couldn’t be prouder of how our students handled this intensive RYA course. Their resilience, focus, and enthusiasm truly reflect what sailing training is all about — learning by doing, supporting one another, and embracing every experience the sea has to offer.
As we look ahead, we’re incredibly excited for the rest of the sailing season in Greece. We can’t wait to welcome new students, reconnect with familiar faces, and continue delivering high-quality RYA courses in Athens.
